Terms of use
Short version: this is a free information page about a tool that's still in pilot. Read it, share the link, quote it with credit. Don't rely on it for decisions without checking the vendor's own pages, and don't attack the site.

What the site is
The site describes Lifecycle Copilot, a tool that turns an IT asset export and last period's lifecycle sheet into a lifecycle workbook. The tool itself is in pilot. It isn't offered for download, sale or use on this site, and nothing here is an offer to sell or provide it.
Information, not advice
The examples on the site, including asset rows, dates and Manage/Renew/Retire calls, are made-up samples that show how the tool works. Vendor support dates change, and vendors publish the authoritative ones. Before you act on any end-of-life or end-of-support date, check it on the vendor's own lifecycle page, such as Microsoft's lifecycle pages for Windows.
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or the information on it. That includes indirect or consequential loss, lost data and lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Acceptable use
You may read, link to and share the site, and quote it with credit. Please don't:
- try to break into, overload, scan for weaknesses in or disrupt the site or the server behind it
- use the site to break the law or anyone else's rights
- present the site's content as your own, or suggest that we endorse something we don't

The text, design and code of the site belong to the operator unless a credit says otherwise. Product and company names mentioned, such as Microsoft, Windows and ServiceNow, are trademarks of their owners. Their mention doesn't mean they're affiliated with or endorse this project.

The site links to vendor and third-party pages. We don't control those pages and aren't responsible for them.

How the site handles information is set out in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. We may also change or take down the site at any time.
