# Lifecycle Copilot > Lifecycle Copilot turns a raw CMDB export and last period's technology lifecycle (TLM) sheet into a finished lifecycle workbook for one infrastructure tower. Every row gets end-of-life and end-of-support dates, a Manage, Renew or Retire recommendation, and the reason behind each value the tool filled in. It's an internal pilot built for IT asset management (ITAM) analysts. The first version covers end-user Windows devices. Status: pilot, version 0.1, updated 24 October 2026. The tool isn't offered for download or sale on this site. The sample rows on the site are made up, not real assets. Key facts: - Input: the current CMDB export (.xlsx) and the prior period's TLM sheet (.xlsx), for one tower. - Matching is deterministic, never fuzzy. Serial number first. Hostname only when it's unique in both files and the serials don't conflict. The same hostname with a different serial is treated as replaced hardware, not a match. - It only fills blanks and never overwrites a source or human value. Every derived value says where it came from. - Every source row is kept, duplicates included. Exceptions (dropped assets, duplicate serials, reused hostnames, copied columns) are output, not hidden. - Windows OS dates come from Microsoft's published lifecycle and release-health pages, keyed on version and edition, including LTSC. A date with no source is left blank and marked for review. - Output: one Excel workbook with six sheets: Report, Summary, Matching Logic, Match Detail, Dropped, Data Quality. - Retire is always a recommendation, never an action. - The goal: one tower refresh in about 1 hour of analyst time, down from about 2 days by hand. ## Pages - [Home](https://memorymanager.stream/): problem, how it works, matching rules, version 1 scope, how it's tested, and a machine-readable product spec - [Machine-readable spec](https://memorymanager.stream/#agents): JSON summary of the product (name, version, inputs, outputs, metric) ## Legal - [Privacy policy](https://memorymanager.stream/privacy.html): the site collects nothing itself; Cloudflare, AWS and Google Fonts see standard request data - [Terms of use](https://memorymanager.stream/terms.html): information only, provided as is; check vendor dates at the source ## Optional - [Microsoft Windows 11 release information](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/windows11-release-information): the source for current Windows 11 end-of-servicing dates - [Microsoft Lifecycle FAQ for Windows](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/faq/windows): why Home/Pro and Enterprise/Education editions have different dates Contact: Shreenath Shetty, shreenathacc22@gmail.com
